Research Fellowship Grant Awardees

Sreymom Pol is the Deputy Dean for Research at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Puthisastra, Cambodia. She holds MSc in International Health and Tropical Medicine from the University of Oxford and has nearly a decade of experience in health research and ethics. Sreymom’s work range in both qualitative and quantitative methods, with a strong focus on community engagement and ethical challenges in low-resource settings. Being a former ETHOX Global Health Ethics Fellow and a member of the Southeast Asia Bioethics Network (SEABION), Sreymom is passionate about promoting culturally grounded ethical practices in healthcare and research. Her current project focuses on strengthening ethics and bioethics education for medical students in Cambodia, a country where structured ethics training remains limited. Through interactive workshops and curriculum development, she aims to build ethical awareness and capacity among future doctors, contributing to the long-term improvement of clinical and research ethics in Cambodia and other regions within Southeast Asia.
