She is a lecturer in pharmacy education with a focus on advancing clinical pharmacy practice and ethical standards in healthcare. In 2025, she participated in the “Building Capacity in Bioethics” workshop in Vientiane, organized by the Southeast Asia Bioethics Network, which further strengthened my commitment to integrating bioethical principles into pharmacy education and practice. She is currently preparing to teach Pharmacy Ethics to assistant pharmacy students, with the goal of equipping future pharmacists with the ethical foundation necessary for patient-centred care. Her PhD research centres on the development of a clinical pharmacy competency framework for pharmacists in Lao PDR. This work employs a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative research, and requires collaboration with healthcare policymakers, hospital pharmacists, academic colleagues, and students. Through this research and my academic role, she aims to contribute to strengthening ethical practice, professional competency, and the advancement of clinical pharmacy in Southeast Asia.
