Research Seed Grants
The Southeast Asia (SEA) Bioethics Network Research Seed Grants aim to support individuals interested in the field of bioethics by providing assistance for small- to medium-scale research in bioethics, preferably within the SEA region. While priority is given to research with a focus on SEA bioethics, the Network will also consider research on Asian bioethics that, in part, examines SEA bioethics issues. The Research Seed Grants aim to encourage early-career researchers in bioethics to initiate research that contributes to the development of their research skills, facilitates the expansion of their international and interdisciplinary networks and fosters the growth of their careers in bioethics. The grant accommodates a diverse array of research endeavours including policy-related research, postgraduate research and translation work. The envisaged outcome is that the research will not only generate interest but also stimulate awareness of SEA bioethics among the wider public.
