Internship Grants

The Internship Grants support postgraduate and undergraduate students, as well as graduates from the previous two years, to gain practical bioethics experience in Southeast Asia. The programme connects academic learning with the real-world application of ethical principles and bioethical decision-making.

Applicants must secure acceptance from an approved host institution before applying for funding.

Applicants may come from any discipline, including philosophy, law, medicine, social sciences and humanities. Applicants must:

• Be a postgraduate or undergraduate student, or have graduated within the previous two years.
• Be a national or permanent resident of a Southeast Asian country.
• Have been accepted by an approved host institution or organisation.
• Not receive funding from another source for the same internship.

Recipients must submit a monthly progress report of no more than 800 words describing their learning activities. The host supervisor must verify and sign each report and apply the appropriate official stamp. Late reports may result in funds being withheld.

1. Secure acceptance from an approved host institution.
2. Download and complete the Application Form and Curriculum Vitae template.
3. Prepare the host acceptance letter, referee recommendation, nationality or residency evidence, and evidence of enrolment or recent graduation.
4. Upload the completed documents through the application form.
