Arnold Keane is a medical student at Universitas Indonesia whose commitment to bioethics is grounded in the cultural and clinical realities of Indonesian healthcare. His experiences have shaped his view of bioethics as a means to humanize medical practice, guiding decisions with empathy, trust, and respect. Currently interning with the Bioethics Cluster of IMERI under the mentorship of Dr. Pukovisa Prawirohardjo, he contributes to research and educational initiatives that connect ethical theory with bedside care. He is especially interested in questions of autonomy, end-of-life decision-making, and the everyday moral challenges faced by physicians.
