Research Seed Grant

An Luu has been a research assistant at OUCRU-HCMC in Vietnam since 2020. She obtained her Master’s degree in public health from Oregon State University. Her work at OUCRU involves qualitative research on vital sign monitoring in critical care settings, where she learns about the social and technical context to inform the implementation team and improve decision-making in intensive care. Through this work, she has developed an interest in ethical and moral decision-making around end-of-life issues in Vietnamese culture. She is soon becoming a PhD student to further explore this field using ethnographic methods.
